Your knowledge in mechanics/heavy truck parts is important to us! Our client in Lachine is looking for a parts clerk, who will be in charge of purchases, to start soon!

We are looking for your talent to analyze production needs and make the best purchases possible.

Working in collaboration with the president, the job consists of:

• Purchasing products.
• Ensuring the suppliers’ availability, prices, quality and performance.
• Developing and maintaining good business relations with suppliers.
• Working while respecting the company rules and good practice.
• Doing call for tenders.
• Negotiate purchase orders.
• Collaborating in developing the contractual agreements.
• Playing an advisory role in choosing new products and/or suppliers.
• Carrying out any other tasks required for the position.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge in the market of heavy vehicle parts (essential)
• Experience in the transport industry
• Excellent level of bilingualism.

Salary: 50 000$ to 65 000$ per year, based on experience

Schedule: Day / 40hrs per week

Status: Permanent
