Operator Builder Adjuster (on Milling Machine) # 1171

Our client is a small or medium-sized business in full expansion. They want to add machinists in their team to work the milling machine. You will have to supervise machining activities (building, equipment maintenance, etc.), inspect (first pieces and samples during processing) and support coordinators if needed. You will also have to suggest corrections and analyse operation efficiency, as well as production quality. 

The main tasks consist of:

• Operating a milling machine;
• Supervising machining activities (building, equipment maintenance);
• Preparing installations, tooling and reading plans;
• Modifying and adjusting programs directly on the machine;
• Inspecting first pieces and samples during processing;
• Doing other related tasks.

Requirements:

• DCS in mechanical engineer or Vocational Studies Diploma in processing technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in processing high-precision machined parts or the equivalent.
• Functional English.
• Able to work in a team and have analytical skills.
• Be concerned about the product quality and schedules.

Salary: 17$ to 23$ per hour / based on experience

Schedule: Day, from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm

Status: Temporary to permanent
