Our client whose branches are located in Canada is looking for an Operations Manager for their Branch in Baie-Comeau. Our client has a unique place in the industry as a one-stop shop for a comprehensive range of equipment for specific market segments such as construction, forestry, mining and utilities.

The position is under the supervision of the Executive Vice-President:

Description of responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Branch.
• Ensure and optimize the growth and performance of the Branch.
• Surpass the goals of equipment sales, parts, technical support and customer service.
• Exceed cost targets.
• Analyze results and lead program to build branch capabilities
• Control the compliance of contractual arrangements with all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, etc.)
• Achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Develop team skills.
• Apply best management practices to mobilize the team.
• Supporting company policies and best practices related to Health & Safety.

Requirements:

• Have at least 10 years’ experience in a similar position within the industry.
• Experience in heavy machinery.
• Experience in mining and construction (asset).
• Bilingualism required (oral and written).

Other relevant information:

Salary: Very competitive and a possible bonus depending on the results – Between 20% -30% of base salary

Schedule: Monday to Friday
