Our client, a Canadian company on the international market for more than 50 years, specialized in the manufacturing of chemicals for the retail and industrial market, is currently looking for a Network Security Analyst to complete their team in Montreal. You will be under the supervision of the IT and Security director and will be part of a team of about 8 IT specialists.

Tasks :

• Detect, prevent and resolve security threats on the IT network.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the company's information and data systems.
• Monitor systems and improve security measures.
• Anticipate potential problems and analyze information to resolve situations.
• Develop information security assessment methods for PCs, servers and network infrastructure.
• Monitor the information security assessment methods.
• Create reports of results and provide guidance on remediation activities.
• Participate in the development of improvement evaluation processes.
• Collaborate with different teams and members.
• Liaise with operations teams to ensure adequate security on infrastructures.
• Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Required profile:

• Motivated and passionate about IT and network security.
• Very good team spirit and dynamic.

• Interest in traveling across Canada, Australia, USA and elsewhere.
• Able to work under pressure and respect deadlines.

Requirements :

• College or university degree in Computer Science or any other related studies.
• 10 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with manufactured industry environments (an asset).
• Bilingualism (French and English).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capable and authorized to travel at least twice a year outside of the country.
• Very good knowledge of : Networking / Security / Active Directory / Windows systems / Routers, Switch, Routing, Ports, Firewalls, Palo Alto Networks, IDS/PS, Cisco equipment, DNS, GPO, Accounts/Access, WSUS, Anti-virus, McAfee, ISO 9001.

Salary : Between 65 000$ and 80 000$ per year, according to experience

Schedule : Day, flexible schedule / 37.5 hours per week

Status : Permanent
