Metallurgy Technician Apprentice #1073

Our client is in full growth in the metallurgy field and is seeking a clever, meticulous, patient and motivated person to fill the position of metallurgy technician apprentice.

For this position, you will be working 8 months in Montreal before moving to Chateauguay. The work requires you being available to work on rotation during the week and weekend, day and evening.

Task description:

• Run tests on thermal treatments for metals.
• Hardness test.
• Test of cementation depth
• Prepare metallurgic samples
• Fill in the documentation with the necessary data
• Carry out any other tasks related to the position

Requirements:

• Training in laboratory tests.
• Availability to work on rotation.
• Level of French, spoken and written: Intermediate
• Good physical shape
• Training in metallurgy (an asset)
• Training or experience in laboratory technique (an asset)

Salary: 16$ per hour

Schedule: Rotation (day/evening/Night/weekend), Monday to Friday / 40h per week.

Status: Permanent.
