Major & Ecomm AR Specialist

Well-known Montreal based importer and distributor seeks experienced Major and Ecomm AR Specialist.  High volume, fast-paced creative environment commands a self-starter who is hard-working, personable and flexible to maintain our mainly American and Canadian major distribution Sales market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain corporate credit policy.
• Work with major accounts on their portals (posting invoices, retrieving payment information).
• Retrieve payment information from EDI.
• Apply payment in ERP.
• Place claims for unpaid invoices or deductions.
• Work closely with the Ecomm department to reconcile the accounts.
• Review orders-on-hold report to follow up on delinquency and/or credit limit issues.
• Working with the project managers on key accounts for the vendor agreements, payment terms etc.
• Work closely with sales and management team on customer credit issues.
• Manage customer credit files.
• Work with Credit Manager to negotiate customer terms.
• Monitor deductions taken by customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/ATTRIBUTES:

• Ability to multi-task and complete multiple projects within deadline.
• Must be hands-on.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications and negotiation skills in English.
• Must be highly organized and have strong time management skills.
• Keen sense of detail while also able to see the big picture.
• Computer proficiency must include Excel.
• Ability to work in a friendly, team-focused group of employees with diverse backgrounds.
• Minimum of five years of experience in similar fast-paced distribution environment.

SALARY:

40K-50K Per Annum Based on experience.
