Our client is a growing company that designs and builds a full range of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders as well as a range of high-quality thermocouples. They are currently looking for a machinist to operate conventional machine-tools to complete their team.

Tasks:

• Operate a numeric control machines, drills and others.
• Profile metal pieces in which their resilience can be controlled by the machine.
• Weld the cylinders’ tubes’ anchors and stops based on the MIG welding procedure.
• Inspect products in progress.
• Complete other related tasks required for the position.

Requirements:

• High school diploma completed or Vocational Studies Diploma in factory machining technology (an asset);
• Experience in metal processing (a strong asset);
• Be able to read different measuring instruments, like the measuring tape;
• Able to carry heavy loads;
• Have access to a vehicle;
• Precision, independence and resourcefulness.

Salary: 15.48$ per hour + Evening premium.

Schedule: Evening, from 3:15pm to 11:30pm or the weekend.

Status: Temporary, stable and long term.
