Our client is a growing company that has been nationally known in real estate for over 35 years. The company currently has 500 employees and 40 branches. They are seeking a level 1 IT technician for projects and internal users.

Your tasks consist of:

• Act as support for the users in the company.
• Prepare Windows job posts.
• Install and download applications and material for the positions.
• Troubleshoot and solve material and software problems, while following service standards.
• Help the level 2 technicians with complex situations.
• Answer calls and diagnose the technical incidents for different systems.
• Update the knowledge base and consult the team about the modifications made.
• Offer some technical support for internal users about points of sale, Office 365, job/material postings, Windows systems and software.
• Support the network and related equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi etc.)
• Do lev 1 management in the Active Directory (change the password, create accounts, etc.)
• Write deployment procedures and other technical documents.
• Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Windows 7 & 10 and Office.
• MS, Cisco, CompTIA Certification (an asset).
• 0 to 3 year of experience in a similar position.
• Diploma in Informatics completed (DVS, ACS, and DCS).
• Very good level of bilingualism French and English – spoken and written) - 75% of calls are in English.
• Being available for overtime, on occasion.
• Being available 1 week out of 4, on call from 8 AM to midnight.

Basic knowledge in:

• Windows Server.
• Active Directory and its components.
• Protocol TCP/IP
• Wireless access
• Office 365 (an asset).

** Important**:

The job will be at the head office in Montreal as for January 1st 2019, the company will relocate their Laval office.

Salary: 40 000$ to 50 000$ per year, based on experience.

Schedule: Day / 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM / 37.5 hours per week.

Status: Permanent
