Internal Sales Counselor - Industrial Control and Automation

Our client is a company specializing in industrial control and automation products for the industrial sector. They are currently looking for an internal sales counselor.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the branch manager, your job will be to advise clients on the various products distributed by the company, to offer competitive proposals, in keeping with the required standards for customer service.

• Process requests for information and orders from clients;
• Enter orders into the computer system and follow up on them;
• Advise and assist clients in the choice of products and technologies;
• Build and maintain good client relations;
• Prepare bids when required;
• Receive merchandise;
• Work closely with other members of the branch in order to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
• Assist with trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences, when needed;
• Keep abreast of all activities in your sector, with regard to clients, the competition, and products;
• Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

• College diploma in electrical engineering or industrial electronics, vocational diploma in automated systems electromechanicals or electrical maintenance, or other relevant education/training;
• Knowledge of industrial controls and/or automation products;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Strong customer service skills;
• Experience with sales in the electrical sector is considered an asset.
