Main tasks:

• Take part in prioritizing, planning and preparing the work.
• Repair and install industrial electronic and/or mechanic control systems on the production lines.
• Maintain production equipment.
• Package machines.
• Train operators on the production equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be interested and able to identify and solve problems.
• Be able to efficiently manage their time and priorities.

Requirements:

• Vocational Studies Diploma in the electro-mechanics of automated systems or other similar training.
• Advanced skills in automation, instrumentation, welding and manufacturing.
• Certificate related to instrumentation (or in the process of obtaining it).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills with power, hydraulic, pneumatic and pump drive components.
• Experience in programmable logic controller (PLC). Siemens will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the WHMIS systems and ISO quality management, an asset.
• Able to drive a forklift.
• Essential bilingualism.

Salary: Between 20$ and 25$ an hour

Schedule: Night (Day training for 2 weeks)

Status: Temporary to permanent.
