Under the supervision of the vice-president, you will be in charge of doing all tasks and functions related to human resources like:

• Playing an advisory role with the director of human resources, in terms of social benefits, organizational development, health and safety, collective agreement, as well as compensation, etc.
• Being responsible of the complete endowment cycle.
• Coordinating and developing the evaluation and employee performance program.
• Managing and implementing many projects for human resources.
• Collaborating with managers, creating and implementing occupational policies.
• Playing an active role in negotiation and executing collective agreements.
• Helping establish a pleasant work environment and encouraging good work relations.
• Being in charge of the training budget in accordance with the evaluation of needs.
• Acting as a mediator for complaints and work conflicts.
• Actively being part of the Occupational Health and Safety committee and contributing to implementing good practical relations.
• Managing work accident files.
• Managing disability files.
• Preparing the pay for agency employment.
• Preparing reports and analyses when needed.
• Being responsible of the social activity and francization committee.
• Doing other related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or in Industrial Relations.
• Member of the “Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines” (an asset).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources.
• Experience in manufacturing (essential).
• Good knowledge of occupational laws and practical experience in work relations.
• Practical experience in Health and Safety.
• Good level of bilingualism.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Have a flexible schedule (on occasion).

Salary: 50 000$ to 58 000$ based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Day / 8:30am to 5pm

Status: Permanent
