Heavy Equipment Supervisor #680

Our client is a company in Saint-Rémi and is currently seeking a heavy equipment supervisor who will actively take part in planning operations, managing the staff, improving and helping reach company goals.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise operations to ensure operation optimization.
• Establish individual and group goals for your team members (up to 30 employees).
• Identify the possible operation costs improvement and decline
• Do continuous training with candidates.
• Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety standards are being respected.
• Ensure that the internal policies, procedures, work methods and regulations are being followed.
• Carry out any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• Diploma related to mechanics and/or experience in supervision, an asset.
• A lot of experience as a supervisor and in staff management.
• Good knowledge in hydraulics, mechanics or diesel.
• Experience in a truck farming, an asset.
• Extensive knowledge of computer tools.

Salary: Based on experience.

Schedule: Around 40h per week / Variable schedule depending on the agricultural field.
