The work mostly consists of:

• Ensuring the management of health and safety committees for all factories and business units.
• Analyzing the risks for work positions and creating improvement projects.
• Creating and implementing specific programs depending on the risks.
• Identifying and approving personal protective equipment.
• Coordinating the quality and environmental management program.
• Planning and doing factory inspection.
• Coordinating internal, external and corporate audits.
• Helping the director with big projects.
• Doing other related tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineer and/or management.
• WHMIS training.
• University certificate in Corporate Health and Safety, an asset.
• Five (5) years of experience in industrial or chemical fields, an asset.
• Able to adapt in an environment with changing priorities.
• Great knowledge in French and English, spoken and written.

Salary: 65 000$ to 75 000$ per year

Schedule: Day, from 8am to 4pm / 35 hours per week

Status: Permanent
