Our client in Montreal is a company in full growth and renowned in its field, and is looking for new talent to fill the permanent position for the day shift. Perfect for accommodating work and family!

The tasks:

• Carry out complex fitting (industrial machine) –Industrial mechanic;
• Use manual or demi-automatic devices to weld metal parts like gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG) and metal arc (GMAW);
• Read the plans and estimates for manufacturing and welding different components;
• Use different electric or hydraulic tools for fitting components;
• Ensure and maintain safety standards in your group and your work space;
• Maintain your group and its conformity and high-quality requirements;
• Respect set dates and scheduled deadlines;
• Maintain the given space clean, in order and safe at all times;
• Be available outside your regular schedule when circumstances arise;
• Fill and sign inspection forms;
• Identify and take note of the problems on the different documents;
• Carry out any other similar tasks.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to read plans and estimates.
• Have knowledge in the metric and imperial measurements.
• Have manual dexterity.
• Be dynamic.

The requirements: 

• A training recognized in fitting-welding.
• Good knowledge in semi-automatic welding.
• Basic knowledge in mechanics. Hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and industrial mechanics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Self-sufficiency.
• Able to read and interpret plans or welding instructions.
• Using manual or semi-automatic devices to weld metal parts like welding devices with electrode and with metal arc (GMAW).

Salary: 24$ per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Day, Monday to Thursday, from 7 AM to 4 PM or 6 AM to 3 PM / Friday from 7 AM to 1 PM

Status: Permanent.
