Are you a Fitter-Welder (High- Pressure) and have 3 or more years of experience? For a permanent position to fill for the day shift, located in Montreal.

Tasks:

• Do complex fitting (industrial machine) –Mechanic, industrial, pneumatic.
• Fit pipes, plumbing.
• Read plans and estimates for the production and welding of different components.
• Use different electric or pneumatic tools to fit components.
• Ensure the mechanical production of projects under the management of the engineer team.
• Ensure and maintain safety standards to your group and workspace.
• Ensure that you and your team respect the requirements and high quality.
• Respect fixed dates and planned schedules.
• Efficiently manage the staff that you were assigned to.
• Always keep the space clean, organized and safe.
• Assist the teams on other projects.
• Be in charge outside of regular schedules when the circumstances change.
• Complete and sign inspection forms.
• Find and write the problems on the different documents.
• Establish the estimated time left for projects in progress, when asked.
• Actively be part of different project creation meetings.
• Complete other related tasks.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to read plans and estimates.
• Have knowledge of the metric and imperial measures.
• Good dexterity.
• Be energetic.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge in Tig. Welding (mandatory).
• Training recognized in welding fitting.
• Basic knowledge in mechanics, plumbing, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and industrial mechanics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar production environment.
• Able to read and interpret welding plans and instructions.
• Use manual or semi-automatic devices to weld pieces of metal like welding tools with tungsten electrode (GTAW/TIG) and metal arc (GMAW).
• Have license to operate a bridge crane and a WHMIS license, an asset.

Salary: 19$ to 24$ per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Day, Monday-Thursday, 7am to 4pm or 6am to 3pm, Friday, 7am to 1pm. – Evening, 3 pm to 12am

Status: Permanent.
