Our client, a world leader renown in its field for its excellent customer service, is currently looking for a field service technician on the road to complete their team. You would like to work for a growing company and be part of a dynamic team? This position is for you!  

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintenance of complex scientific and analytical instrumentation;
  • Perform installation of equipment from delivery to sign-off;
  • Perform diagnostics and provide support remotely;
  • Track case details within the CRM system to document service history and data analysis;
  • Perform preventive maintenance per maintenance schedule and company’s guidelines;
  • Manage pieces returns and repairs according to company’s standards;
  • Keep customers and appropriate personnel well informed on any open issues.

Requirements

  • Experience in electronics;
  • Knowledge of applied physics or in the chemistry field an asset;
  • Experience in precision mechanics;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
  • College degree in electronics technology or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer support or in technical support;
  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • A valid passport and driver’s license are mandatory. You must have the ability to obtain a credit card and to travel across Canada on a regular basis.

Salary: 55 000$ to 65 000$ per year, according to experience.

Schedule: Day shift.

Status: Permanent.
