Under the supervision of the head of installation maintenance, you will be in charge of the following tasks and more:

• Install, maintain, repair, verify, modify and do the calibration of different types of machinery, components and mechanical, electromechanical and electrical equipment.
• Repair, modify and adjust electric equipment with measuring equipment and tools.
• Occasionally intervene on PLC programs or operator interfaces to solve recurring problems.
• Modify and adjust the settings of the variable speed drivers.
• Maintain the installations (CVAC) n accordance with the current standards and codes.
• Repair and modify the mechanical parts of the installations (CVAC) and the building.
• Occasionally weld with some CVAC and other equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks, make statements and information instructions.

Requirements:

• Diploma of college Studies in Electromechanics or the equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as an electromechanics.
• Valid qualification certificate in electricity (C license) and recognized by Emploi Québec.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the field of building mechanics (an asset).
• Valid provincial driver’s license.
• Lots of experience in mechanical adjusting and in hydraulic system maintenance.
• Successfully pass the security screening.
• Knowledge in the Canadian code of electricity.
• Knowledge in MS Office is an asset.
• Extensive knowledge in French/English, spoken and written, an asset.

Salary: 32$ to 37$ per hour (according to the current collective agreement)
