Located in Saint Hubert, our client, the Government of Québec, is seeking an electric and electronic engineering technician. The candidate will have to assist the engineers and other technicians in the conception, development, trial and electric and electronic departments.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate and create functional trials and performances on the food system
• Create experimental layouts to identify Li-ion battery cells.
• Prepare electrical and electronic diagrams based on the information provided by the engineers
• Select electronic components
• Assemble and integrate electronic units
• Set-up and use trial equipment specialized for diagnosing and studying the electronic system performance.
• Layout and try printed circuit prototypes
• Design and assemble cables and electrical wires for electronic unit interconnection
• Support the implementation of environmental trials in the heat chamber and thermo-vacuum.
• Complete any other tasks related to the position

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Reliability, mandatory
• Certificate or diploma relevant to the position, and/or a combination of studies, training and experience in electrical and electronic engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the field
• Experience in supervising, an asset.
• Bilingualism, both spoken and written
• Extensive knowledge in computer tools.

Salary: To be discussed

Schedule: 37.5 h per week / Monday to Friday.
