Under the supervision of the Senior Director, the job essentially consists of:

• Being in charge of annual budget for the entire department (confirmation and follow-up);
• Negotiating contracts for distribution centers in the province;
• Ensuring that the transport management process is optimum;
• Supervising and coordinating the acquisition process and the management equipment fleet, and making sure to get optimum performance;
• Always being quick to come up with innovative solutions;
• Recommending and implanting operational changes to improve the process and customer service;
• Being part of different committees and special projects;
• In collaboration with other participants, taking part in strategy planning;
• Helping executive’s work in managing operations;
• Making sure to follow procedures and the internal and governmental rules are applied;
• Other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Operations and Logistics Management or in engineering (or an equivalent),
• Experience in a unionized environment,
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position,

Salary: 120 000$ + up to 25% bonus
