Our important client is currently looking for a professional person to fill the permanent position of director.

The work mostly consists of directing the business intelligence solutions department, such as:

• Analyzing data and loyalty program systems;
• Managing and coordinating the strategic and tactic direction of the department;
• Suggesting innovative solutions of governance, design, installation, integration and the usage of company data;
• Ensuring that the systems you are in charge of are working properly;
• Managing a team in charge of design and installation, and optimization of BI solutions/technology;
• Creating the calendar of project realization and the standards of expected returns;
• Controlling the work produced;
• Evaluating the feasibility, duration, necessary resources and anticipated returns on investment of different projects;
• Coordinating the work and controlling the schedules;
• Ensuring that the management activities helps users efficiently use the solutions established;
• Working with the other departments, developing scalable solutions;
• Showing leadership for your teams and creating a positive and motivating work spirit;
• Maximizing the sector’s performance and effectiveness;
• Identifying analysis opportunities that will bring value to the company;
• Evaluating the effectiveness of the ways of working, of the usage of different tools and brining the necessary adjustments;
• Ensuring a constant lookout for advanced technology and the best practices, and providing necessary recommendations;
• Suggesting and checking the operation budget of the sector;
• Creating performance evaluations for your staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,
• At least 5 years of experience in a position of team management (Business intelligence solutions),
• Experience in project and budget management,
• Experience in technology management and supervision in changes in your sector,
• Good knowledge of a computer-based environment (SAP ESSENTIAL),
• Knowledge in Hadoop technology.

Salary: 90 000$ to 110 000$ per year plus a bonus, based on experience and qualifications.
