Our client is a non-profit company that offers different home help services for seniors or individual with decreased independence. Our client is actually looking for a candidate to fill in a dining room server position.

The tasks consist of:

  • Greeting residents, presenting menu choices and answering questions about the food;
  • Taking orders and serving tables;
  • Based on instructions, bringing clean dishes, utensils and other objects to serving areas and setting the tables so they can all be ready for the meals;
  • Replenishing condiments or other articles on the tables;
  • Clearing and cleaning tables; 
  • Help in washing dishes;
  • Making sure that the eating area is clean and doing all other related tasks required by the position.

Requirements:

  • Experience with customer service (an asset); 
  • Table service experience (an asset); 
  • French spoken and written - English an asset; 
  • Organization skills; 
  • Focused on people’s well-being; 
  • Dynamic, ethical and professional; 
  • Able to communicate and listen; 
  • Able to work in a team and to cooperate; 
  • Does not stress easily.

Salary: 13$ per hour

Schedule: Day shift, from 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday

Status: Temporary, stable and long term
