Credit and Accounts Receivable Department Manager #692

We are seeking a credit and accounts receivable department manager for our client in St-Lambert in the South Shore of Montreal. This is a leading company in manufacturing, distribution and commercialisation of garage doors and other accessories.

Tasks:

• Manage de credit and recovery of customer accounts
• Research and analyze the risks of customer accounts
• Do the bookkeeping and record / reconciliation of the accounts
• Define the limits and conditions of the payment
• Receive invoices, credit approval and customer service;
• Prepare reports;
• Approve transactions and new customer accounts;
• Come up with new ideas to improve the department;
• Any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• DCS / Degree or training in Management, Finance Administration, Accounting (asset)
• Good communication skills
• Bilingualism (French-English – spoken and written;
• Extensive knowledge in MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Knowledge in credit bureau reports and research
• Knowledge of the Canadian and provincial laws regarding recovery and bankruptcy
• Experience in the field of construction or in manufacturing is an asset.
• Ability to work in a team
• Access to a vehicle for doing bank deposits – visiting clients

Salary: 45 000$ to 50 000$ per year, based on experience

Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM /40h per week.

Status: Permanent
