Our client is Laval is currently seeking a controller specializing in accounting and who would like to join a company where supporting each other is one of their biggest values.   

You will be in charge of all kinds of financial and accounting operations and some human resources files. You will also have to plan, organize and manage current financial and accounting activities in the company.

The job consists of:

• Managing the full accounting cycle: receipts, payments, pays, regularizations and other;
• Making sure that the accounting system, other information systems and the accounting plan are up to date and answered when needed;
• Writing monthly financial statements of all the sectors as well as the combined financial statements and explaining the discrepancies;
• Managing the cash flow movements;
• Coordinating or preparing management reports, special reports and account analyses;
• Preparing annual financial statements, year-end files and helping the auditors;
• Overseeing that the internal audits are coherent and efficient;
• Managing the management analyses and taking part in interpreting results; 
• Preparing and / or reviewing the month-end reconciliation;
• Managing some human resources files;
• Any other tasks similar to the position.

Requirements:

• DCS or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Five (5) years of experience as a controller or a head accountant in a service company.
• Being very comfortable working in a computer-based environment.
• Extensive knowledge of the accounting standards.
• Bilingualism - essential
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software, Dynacom will be an asset

Salary: Base + Bonus / Salary will be discussed during the telephone interview (salary and bonus)
