Our client is a leader in digital transformation for companies and public sectors, and is seeking a content manager (marketing) for their Downtown Montreal office.

Reporting to the content executive and working with the social media team, your responsibilities will be to: 

  • Review and update the current content strategy, based on audience need, content and preferences.
  • Create quality content by using current trends.
  • Manage content production to support the digital marketing team.
  • Issue and manage creative briefs and optimize production by collecting relevant information.
  • Edit and write content articles such as; publishing articles on the blog, posting on social media, writing about the content online, video scripts, demonstrations, helping tools and sales support, product files, studies reports, brochures, infographics for the web pages.
  • Create interactive and visual elements.
  • Research graphics material sources.
  • Fully manage content production, review procedure briefs, edits, publication/activation, curation, maintenance and measure results and reports.
  • Issue and distribute content performance reports while using the right tools.
  • Recommend communication/activation channels and optimize the content on the results analysis.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in content marketing or public relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Administration or Journalism.
  • Extensive knowledge in English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian and American market.
  • Knowledge in retail management (essential).
  • Knowledge in the North American (United States) market ( a great asset)

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to manage many files and prioritize.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Be flexible in regards to business trips (occasional).
  • Have leadership skills and take initiative.
  • Be able to adapt.
  • Be able to work in a team and also work alone.

Salary: 50 000$ to 70 000$ per year, based on experience.

Schedule: Day / 8:30 AM to 5 PM
