Our client is a prestigious company in the construction field for over 25 years and is seeking a resourceful and professional person to be their construction engineer.

Reporting to the director of operations, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Take responsibility in creating project renovations.
  • Meet internal clients to identify the objectives.
  • Organize meetings and plan the project implementation.
  • Evaluate production cost.
  • Coordinate the activities of the professionals and the companies.
  • Control and plan the follow ups of the field.
  • Take part in starting up the fields and making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Ensure that the rules, law, procedures and standards are being respected.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction or civil engineering.
  • Knowledge in the construction field (essential).
  • Knowledge in the recent version of the AutoCAD software (a great asset).
  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Good level of bilingualism, spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of the building codes and documents used in the construction industry.
  • Experience in team management.

Salary: Up to 200 000$ per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule: Day / 40 hrs per week.
