Our client is a company known in its field and is seeking a claims clerk for a temporary position of 4 to 6 months for their Pointe-Claire office.

Accounting tasks:

• Prepare bank deposits;
• Assist the accounts receivables team with deductions;
• Keep the accounts receivables classification up to date;
• Prepare reports when required;
• Prepare, gather and classify data;
• Do data entry;
• Analyze claim requests;
• Confirm the claims and ensure that the required documents are there;
• Contact clients for more information;
• Deliver and apply the credits;
• Contact the different departments;
• Revaluate some claims;

The ideal candidate will be:

• Self-sufficient, tact, dynamic;
• Comfortable speaking on the phone, have interpersonal skills and be able to stay calm;
• Very analytical;
• Able to work in a team.

Requirements:

• Diploma in administration, finances or in accounting (an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Extensive knowledge in Excel (pivot table)
• Excellent level of bilingualism

Salary: 17$ per hour

Schedule: Day, 8:30 AM to 5 PM / 37h per week / 4 to 6 months

Status: Temporary
