Do you have what we’re looking for?  Our client is looking for a claims and credit technician to join its team.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Process return authorization requests.
  • Communicate on any discrepancies.
  • Follow up with warehouse for the returns.
  • Process, requests and issue credit notes for returns.
  • Work with Accounts receivable departmentfor customer issues.
  • Send credit note copies to sales/customers.
  • Forward to accounts receivable with aged trial balance attached showing offset.
  • Daily research of customer deductions.
  • Communicate with other departments to resolve claims.
  • Keep a log of claims that have been disputed or have to be paid back by suppliers.
  • Keep track of the requirements of each customer, and updated log.

Required profile:

  • Ability to prioritize and set goals.
  • Organizational ability
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities at the same time
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the apparel industry, an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the reverse logistics role( returns, claims and credit notes).
  • Bilingual (English & French) – spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of Ms Office.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced).
  • Knowledge of Momentis an asset.

Salary:  34 000$ to 38 000$ per year

Schedule: Day shift, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM / 37.5hrs per week
