Our client is an international company that has been established for many years and is seeking talented people to fill the position of chemical process operator. The candidate will be in charge of overseeing operations and the control of the chemical process manufacturing, as well as helping many departments like shipment, maintenance and sewage water treatment.

Tasks:

  • Verify and maintain the cleanliness of production and control equipment.
  • Oversee and control the transformation process and ensure that the equipment is working properly.
  • Collect material or product samples, reference them and register them for the analysis.
  • Inspect the products (humidity, temperature, pressure...) and find defects related to its processing.
  • Maintain the tools needed for the test.
  • Safely load and unload wagons and tanker trucks outside.
  • Carry out tasks related to maintaining and cleaning equipment.
  • Write many reports to follow-up with the activities.
  • Follow the rules regarding occupational safety, quality and standards.
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • DCS or ACS in chemical process or petrochemicals or any other training and/or experience seen as relevant.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in production (continuous process).
  • Knowledge in the operating principles for controls and valves.
  • Good knowledge in the OSH laws, regulations and standards.

Salary: 31$ to 32$ per hour

Schedule: 12 hour schedule, day and night shift on rotation

Status: Permanent
