Our client is a small manufacturing company that has been well-established in Quebec for over 60 years. They specialize in the development and manufacture of products for the construction sector. They are currently looking for a buyer.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the CEO, your job will mainly consist of purchasing the materials needed to manufacture the company's products.

  • Process order forms;
  • Check stocks (inventory);
  • Provide support to the commercial sales department;
  • Coordinate merchandise receiving;
  • Manage relations with suppliers;
  • Find new suppliers when needed;
  • Maintain good buying practices (best cost / quality / delivery);
  • Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

  • College technical diploma in administration, college certificate in supply management, or any other relevant education/training;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Functionally bilingual (spoken and written French and English);
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector and ability to read construction plans are considered significant assets;
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite, the Windows environment, and an MRP-type system;
  • Comfortable with interpersonal communication and with managing priorities.
