SEVA, a new residence for retirees that will officially open on March 1st 2018, is currently seeking auxiliary nurses to join their team. The interviews will begin mid-January. Your challenge:

• Provide personalized nursing care to all dependent and independent residents by checking their health and their file;
• Provide the help needed at all emergency situations, while respecting the company rules and quality;
• Create and maintain trusting relations with residents, their family and health workers;
• Actively participate in creating and maintaining a welcoming, stimulating, vibrant, and safe living environment.

Requirements:

• Member of the OIIAQ, must have proof;
• DVS in Health, assistance and nursing;
• Up-do-date Standard First Aid and CPR licenses;
• PDSB training;
• WHMIS training (asset);
• Minimum 6 months of experience as auxiliary nurse (experience in geriatrics would be an asset, also experience and knowledge in a residential environment);
• Functional bilingualism;
• Have no legal impediment related to the position.

Salary: 18$ to 19$ per hour

Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions / Available work shifts: Day, evening or night / All positions require working every other weekend.

Status: Permanent / Job starts February 17, 2018.
