Assistant Operator – food sector # 390

Our client is a company in the food industry. Located in Boisbriand, our client is looking for an assistant production operator. The main task as an assistant production operator will be to operate the machine.

You will have to:

• Put the stuffing in the machine that makes the products.
• Provide the plastic wrap and container machines.
• Work directly with the operator and be multi-skilled.
• Carry out tests in order to ensure that the product respects the standards.
• Always keep a clean work station.
• Respect HACCP standards and quality control standards.
• Carry out any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

• High school diploma completed or the equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in the food sector.
• Able to provide some physical effort (lift loads as heavy as 25lbs).
• Knowledge in the health and sanitation standards (HACCP), an asset.
• Able to work standing for long hours.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

Salary: 13$ per hour

Schedule: Day shift, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 9 AM to 5:30 PM

Status: Temporary to permanent.
