Our client in an important fast-food restaurants in Canada, was founded over 50 years ago and is now known as the most popular chain of its category in Canada.

In collaboration with the restaurant manager, the assistant manager will have to manage restoration operations and ensure that the food chain restaurant standards are followed, which includes employees, products, cleanliness and exceptional customer experience.

Main tasks:

• Actively take part in the maintenance, orientation and sales and profits increase;
• Regularly communicate with your team members regarding current operations and guidelines;
• Collaborate in planning and respecting budgets and reaching sales and transactions objectives;
• Help manage food, inventory and labour costs;
• Take part in recruiting new team members and their training;
• Plan the work schedules and make sure that there enough employees for all shifts;
• Motivate and encourage the team to reach the goals;
• Follow the occupational health and safety policies and procedures;
• Answer all of the customers’ questions and manage the complaints;
• Complete the administrative documents necessary for a good restaurant management.

Requirements:

• Secondary 5.
• Minimum one year of experience in catering management.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have experience in fast-food, an asset.
• Be able to adapt and manage stress.
• Be self-efficient and organized.
• Have computer skills.
• Have good availabilities for emergency cases when necessary.

Salary: 14$ to 16$ per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Day, from 6 AM to 2 PM or 7 AM to 3 PM and evening, from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Status: Permanent.
