Our client is an international manufacturing company in Laval and want to hire someone who will support the controller with their daily tasks. You just need to stand out from other, we need a person who is honest about their skills, nothing less!

Your role will be to:

• Create many accounting and sales reports.
• Take care of commission reports for sales tax returns and credit.
• Follow financial statements and deduction calculations.
• Do bank reconciliations.
• Prepare ledger analyses.
• Take care of accounting entries.
• Do monthly internal audits regarding taxes.
• Take care of the accounting for the amortizations, prepaid expense and ledger entries.
• Do the complete accounting cycle, as well as the reports for a tax affiliated entity.
• Ensure the accuracy of the cost price of this entity.
• Gather the training hours in respect to training law of 1%.
• Carry out any other tasks requested by the Controller.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / combined with 3 to 5 years of experience.
• DCS in Accounting and Management / combined with 7 to 10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle.
• Experience in cost price analysis.
• Knowledge of the Sage 50 software.
• Excellent level of bilingualism (spoken and written) – Will be verified during interview.
• Extensive knowledge in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable).

Salary: 50 000$ to 55 000$

Schedule: Day / 8am to 4:30pm / 8:30am to 5pm / 37.5h per week
