LE GROUPE MAURICE IS NOW RECRUITING FOR ITS NEW RESIDENCE, STATION EST, LOCATED IN THE EAST OF MONTREAL!

STATION EST, a new residence for retirees that will officially open on October 1st 2017, is currently seeking 3 assistant cooks to join its new food services team. You have at least two years of relevant experience or a DVS in cooking and you are seeking a position that offers reasonable schedules? Hurry and send us your application as soon as possible!

Your challenge: 

• Assist the service staff with food and meal preparation;
• Help prepare meals, keep kitchen spaces orderly; assist in ensuring compliance with hygiene standards, cleanliness of the premises, and good management of inventory;
• Use equipment responsibly and effectively;
• Assist dining room staff when needed;
• Help prevent accidents and ensure the safety of the premises.

Features of the position?

• Permanent positions;
• One full-time position and two part-time;
• A position in a kitchen where the latest you can finish is 7:30pm;
• Insurance after 3 months (medical and paramedical expenses, travel insurance, short and long-term disability insurance);

Requirements:

• DVS in Professional Cooking or 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Ability to cut vegetables, assemble recipes, carry-out simple cooking and assemble plates;
• Knowledge of MAPAQ regulations (asset);
• Have no legal impediment related to the position.
