We are seeking a multi-skilled, resourceful and cheerful accounts payable clerk to complete our team in Laval.

Tasks:

  • Revise received invoices from the suppliers;
  • Sort and code invoices, then enter the amount in the accounting software;
  • Compare invoices, goods receipt slips and order forms to ensure that the quantity, description and prices are conform;
  • Prepare the invoice payments;
  • Prepare and treat the electronic transfers and payments;
  • Print cheques and do the backups;
  • Contact suppliers and answer their questions;
  • Follow the credits and invoices causing problems;
  • Write different reports regarding accounts payable;
  • Carry out any other similar tasks.

Requirements:

  • DCS in administration or accounting or the equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Knowledge in the accounting system.
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written, essential.
  • Important asset: experience in accounts payable.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Salary: To be determined based on experience

Schedule: Day / Monday to Friday

Status: Full time / Temporary one year contract (replacement for maternity leave)
