Our client is a company offering accounting services to many clienteles (self932

-employed people, SME, professionals, etc.) and is seeking a person passionate about numbers for an accounting assistant position in La Prairie!

Under the supervision of the president, the tasks include:

Administrative tasks:

  • Open accounts for new clients and check status of the credit file.
  • Be in charge of oral and written communication to clients.
  • Follow up on clients and providers about past orders.
  • Prepare the necessary documents for all steps in the file.
  • Follow up and manage the operational computer systems.
  • Any other tasks related to administration.

Accounting tasks:

  • Do the entire accounting cycle.
  • Manage and handle the accounts payable and receivable.
  • Do bank conciliations.
  • Code and post invoices;
  • Write the accounting entries in the journal.
  • Take part in the month-end process.
  • Write GST/QST/DAS reports.
  • Any other tasks related to accounting.

Requirements:

  • DCS in Accounting or the equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a position with similar administrative and accounting tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Extensive knowledge in MS Office.
  • Good level of bilingualism.
  • Knowledge in the Sales Force software (a great asset).

Salary: 40 000 to 45 000$ per year
