Our client is a leading manufacturer for architectural and interior design since 1898. Located in Saint-Laurent, our client is looking for an account manager to join their team. 

Tasks:

  • Manage customer accounts in designated territory.
  • Answer all inquiries from customers, representatives and the Regional Sales Manager in a timely manner.
  • Answer all incoming calls, check messages, and return all voicemail messages promptly.
  • Register all sales orders in SAP with the most accurate information available.
  • Perform contract reviews and complete related documentation.
  • Update customers/agents regarding any delays or changes in lead times.
  • Review Backlog daily for any possible dispatches or invoicing.
  • Decide on the best method to fill orders; drop shipment from factories, warehouse shipment, etc.
  • Prepare all the packing slips and markings for all dispatches.
  • Interface with the Supply Chain department to ensure prompt availability of product within the required term.
  • Work directly with logistics to ensure timely shipment to customers.
  • Prepare all invoices for dispatches.
  • Manage blanket agreements with distributors / utilities with the Regional Sales Manager and update the blankets log.
  • Update the Customer Mapping monthly.
  • Prepare the monthly forecast by providing data to the commercial department and to Supply Chain.
  • Keep running totals for sales per customer in order to update sales agents, representative and management.
  • Aid the Accounting department in resolving any unpaid or late payments.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to customers.
  • Carry out any other tasks related to the position.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP.
  • Very good English, French is not mandatory.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learning ability.

Salary: 45 000$ per year

Schedule: Day, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM

Status: Temporary, 6 month mandate with possibility of extension
